Earlier this month, the National Safety Council (NSC) announced the appointment of JDH’s EHS+ Director Dawn Moninger (pictured) as a member of the NSC Delegates Committee.

This group plays a critical role in shaping NSC policies and programs, advancing the Council’s mission of eliminating preventable deaths and injuries in the workplace, on the road and beyond.
“Being selected to the NSC Delegates Committee is both an honor and an opportunity to further strengthen how we protect people in every setting,” shared Dawn Moninger. “At JDH, safety is a value that defines how we work every day. I look forward to sharing our experiences and learning from others as we continue to raise the bar for workplace safety.”
Aaron Reid, president and COO of JDH, added: “Dawn’s appointment reflects both her leadership and JDH’s commitment to continuous improvement in EHS+ practices. Her voice on the Delegates Committee not only highlights JDH’s dedication to safety culture but also reinforces our role as an industry leader in protecting our people and communities.”
Mark Chung, executive vice president of safety leadership and advocacy at NSC, welcomed the appointment: “The NSC Delegates Committee is made up of subject matter experts from our member companies, and we are thrilled to welcome Dawn to the committee. Thanks to the efforts of our Delegates, NSC can better identify emerging issues, receive reliable feedback on educational and programming opportunities, and tap into the diversity of expertise and dedication represented in its membership. We look forward to her participation in supporting the NSC mission to save lives from the workplace to anyplace.”
